
Project Overview
The product:
The need for Talent in our industry has been a real change to overcome over the years.
With a business model that sources, mentors, and hires the right talent for its partner companies, Swabhav Techlabs has built an intelligent, data-driven learning and recruitment platform to help talents create a personalized learning environment and to provide recruiters with a talent acquisition suite to engage and select these talents.
The problem:

There is a gap between industry-level technologies and university-based curriculum. There is a lack of mentorship or guidance for the students who have completed their graduation.

Similarly, there is no proper way through which HR professionals can hire a batch of candidates with great skills matching an experienced candidate.
User group:

​It has 4 main logins Student, Mentor, Talent acquisition, and Admin. There are around 200+ screens.
My role:

UI/UX designer leading the project and make responsive website design from conception to delivery

The goal:
-
To build an easy-to-use web app. Integrating different faculties, students, and vendors requires a system architecture that is flexible and quick to modify.

The system is designed for students to easily connect their batch's schedule, assignments, and monitor their progress.

The system for mentors with features like giving feedback, updating changes in an ongoing batch, add new modules to it - All this should happen in seconds. Now, consider that thousands of users are doing this at the same time.
Responsibilities:

To understand the depth of the product, why talent creation is important. Go through already build system, make paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conduct usability studies, user manuals, iterate on designs, determine information architecture, and responsive design.

Process
The Design Sprint
We all know the design thinking process: Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test but working together in a Sprint, you can shortcut the endless-debate cycle and compress months of time into a single week. Instead of waiting to launch a minimal product to understand if an idea is any good, you’ll get clear data from a realistic prototype. The sprint gives you a superpower: You can fast-forward into the future to see your finished product and customer reactions, before making any expensive commitments.

The sprint gives teams a shortcut to learning without building and launching.

Each program focuses on measuring the skill improvement of a student on a concept level.
They also focus on strengthening the synapses of a student for every new learning done.

TSM shows the training program right from its modules to topics and concepts taught in every topic. It also helps the mentors share positively stimulated feedbacks to the students.

It provides tools to manage employee, and student training and development, including creating and tracking training programs and assessing employee progress.

It gives an overview of this going on.

It allows one to manage the entire hiring process, including posting job openings, accepting resumes, and tracking applicants.

And until now , we got a rich online presence in-line with the brand’s overall look, feel, and positioning.

This resulted in an increased awareness of the brand amongst students around the world. Noticeable rise in web traffic & the average performance rating of a student, and a significant uplift in sales was achieved within the first 6 months of launch.
Moving Forward
Learnings:

For value creation, one should believe in talent creation.
-
Every Talent(student or any individual) is equal, unique, and unlimited.
Challenges:
-
To make it interactive with students not only to submit assignments and track their progress but to make them use it during ongoing live lectures. So we came up with a live poll where mentors can add questions with options and students can answer them it was fun and learning both.

Different companies had different hiring processes and set interview rounds. so to overcome this we can with the idea of pipeline creation for that requirement.
Next step:
-
Make a mobile-friendly app.
Make alumni connect forum so that past students are in touch. -
Make a login for company HRs so they can track the progress of their candidate.

Make a login for college TPOs so we can tie up with colleges for students in a 2nd-3rd year.
